Here we are with our 18 Week BUMP date! We have good news and we have bad news…
The boys are finally moving around more frequently. I feel them about 2-3 times a day. They’re on my night shift schedule, so most times it’s either in the wee hours of the night or morning.
The boys are now each the size of a bell pepper. Say what! Funny how they started out as two literal cells, and now are quite large! They’re able to differentiate in voices, they are able to swallow and they can move around more freely.
I’m still vomiting. I finally gave in and said I needed meds. Doc prescribed two meds, which we talked about last week. I’ve tried the $60 medication twice now…each time I’ve come down with a debilitating headache. I am unable to function. I prefer vomiting and continuing on with my days rather than being unable to function! I’ll be talking to the doc about this next week.
I have a upper abdominal ultrasound on Monday. This ultrasound is looking for gallbladder issues that might explain both the vomiting and pain I’m experiencing. The bad news here is, even if it is my gallbladder…they won’t take it out until after the babies are born.
I don’t have a picture of the bump yet, but I’m hoping to get one soon. It’s not so much a round bump, but they sure are starting to pop out! I think Zoram is certainly more excited than I am.
That’s all for now!
